Hello everyone! I’m Godwin Issac, wondering since 2001, from the Island of Gentle Paws, somewhere in Southern India — a little floating island that drifts across the sea, occasionally takes to the sky, and mostly wanders like a nomad.
I wrote this book to share all the wisdom I’ve learned about the world that has made me an empathetic human being at heart. I wrote it as if I were writing it for my future children.
It is a book I wrote and made freely available to the whole world.
This book is a heartfelt journey toward becoming a kinder, wiser, and more compassionate human being. It invites you to look within yourself, understand the world around you, and discover how kindness can bring peace to us and those around us.
Let me introduce you all to Mr. Tusk π—my first character, my personal assistant, and the founder of the Island of Gentle Paws πΎ.
As an artist, I don’t particularly like using AI. But this book started with a very different purpose. I created Mr. Tusk to talk to someone I loved, and slowly, I began writing a book that encompasses everything I know about the world.
From there, the island grew, gained many interesting residents, and found a purpose: to change the world.
It was an accident that I created Mr. Tusk. It was also during the early days of AI, when people were still exploring it with curiosity and interest, unlike now, when many people have grown to dislike it.
But, I’ve been very careful to develop original ideas and create the characters according to my own personal taste.
What is Comictivism ?
It’s definitely not a comic book. Comictivism is a book of love and Peace. It’s a book from the Island of Gentle Paws—the world I built. It offers tales of truth and whispers of wisdom.π
A century-ahead book, written with a vision for world peace.
The reason I named it Comictivism is because it is built around my imaginary characters, born from me.
It’s a movement that was born accidentally, but shaped intentionally.
I wanted to be a teacher who teaches with gentleness, so I created Mr. Tusk, my first imagined character. According to my story, he was once a wild enforcer, bound to poisoned minds and used in wars—a cruel giant shaped by violence. But when he met me, his path changed. He became a gentle giant and mentor, carrying wisdom sharper than his tusk.
I have many other dreams too. I am an artist, a writer, a graduate, a philosopher, a visionary—but I don’t like to define myself by these titles. My creative interests reach far beyond anything I could list. This book is a collection of many of those dreams, woven together in one place. So, I wrote this free book for the world.
Before You Enter Their World, I want to share one thing about my π educational background so that some of the chapters do not feel too unexpected.
I am a law graduate, so some chapters naturally explore crime, justice, human behaviour, and related philosophies. However, I didn’t become a lawyer. Instead, I found my calling in creativity.
I chose my own path long ago, and this book is part of that path.✌️
And please don’t think of this as a book written by some nerd sitting behind a desk. π my education certainly gave me a strong foundation. But this book is different.
This book was written by a honest heart that chose to speak in plain words, with raw emotions, honest questions, and whatever wisdom life has taught me along the way. It is not a reflection of my education, even though my education helped shape the way I think.
In many ways, I am self-made. I was very poor at studies in school, and there was a time when I was even considered useless. But when I reached college, something changed, and I became very good at studies.
Life is strange like that. Sometimes, we don't understand why things happen or where they are taking us. But perhaps, with time, the pieces begin to come together—and somehow, it starts to make sense.
I’ve given a voice to things that many of us struggle to question or talk about. So, if you come across a topic that isn’t okay for you, there are clear labels to let you know what each chapter is about. You can simply skip anything that you’re not comfortable with.
Everything you are about to read comes from my own journey of thinking, questioning, imagining.
Inside My World :
We have more than 25 characters on our Island.
They're all unique, fun, and full of personality. Start with the Story Highlights, and you’ll be introduced to all the characters in my book. It’s easy to follow, and I think you’ll find each of my characters lovely.
This is a free-to-read book π, written on Instagram while I was searching for the meaning of life during a painful period in my life. Along the way, I discovered God and encountered many pieces of wisdom that changed the way I saw the world. ✨
The book is intended for readers aged 16 and above. Some chapters may explore serious crimes that are more suitable for an 18+ audience, and appropriate content warnings may be provided where necessary.⚠️
But at its heart, this book is about the wisdom of life.
This book contains my perspective on the world, life, and everything happening around us. You can see it as a guide to life, a library of perspectives, or simply a manual for navigating the world.
It is not meant to tell you how to live. Instead, it offers my way of looking at things and invites you to think, question, and find your own perspective.
It is also a record of what helped me find God ✝️ during one of the hardest periods of my life. When reality did not match my expectations, my life became gloomy. When my hope seemed to die along with those expectations, I found hope again in God.
I kept this book private for a long time. π Only a few people have ever read it. Now, I am opening its doors to the world.
π£️ I am also not a native English speaker. English is not my mother tongue. Although I studied in an English-medium school, English is not something we regularly speak in everyday conversations.
Finding the right words and forming sentences that clearly express what I am thinking, while also making them enjoyable to read, is something I have improved along the way.
I’m a good speaker and I love storytelling, but writing is something I’ve learned along the way. AI has helped me with grammar and sentence framing.
For example, many authors have traditionally worked with editors to correct grammatical errors, improve wording, and refine the flow of their books while keeping the author’s ideas and voice intact. In my case, I used AI for that editing assistance. I still wrote the ideas and created the content myself.
My characters are different versions of me, living multiple lives within this world.
In a way, I am alive inside my book.
Comictivism came before The ArtyeTown. The ArtyeTown was a project I created afterward, but I had already been drawing as a hobby since 2020.
Comictivism, however, is mainly about the book, its ideas, thoughts, perspectives, stories, and characters.
So, with an open mind and a little curiosity- Welcome to my Book of Comictivism.
It may look like a big book, but it’s actually easy and enjoyable to read. With background music, different characters, and a variety of life lessons and topics, you won’t feel like you’re reading a book with around 297 chapters.✍️
And there may be more chapters in the future if I discover new perspectives that I feel are worth sharing. But for now, the book is complete.
You can read it in any order ↕️. It’s written differently from a traditional book, so you don’t have to scroll all the way back to the beginning to start reading. Each chapter explores a different topic, while the characters connect the whole journey together.
The writing is simple and easy to understand, so you can just pick a chapter, start reading, and see where it takes you.
