Think back—before expectations, before ambition, back to when you were five years old.
What did you want?
Think again.
Chances are, you don’t remember a specific “career goal,” because back then, you wanted for nothing. Your dreams weren’t about the things we chase today. We’ve convinced ourselves that the hustle is the dream, but the scenery in my art represents what people truly crave: a peaceful place, a quiet life, and the simple joy of minding our own hearts and families.
Why do we fight wars for someone else’s ambitions? Why do we settle for a life where the “good parts” are compressed into short vacations? That is the ultimate illusion. Life should be 80% living and 20% working—not the other way around.
In this piece, I wanted to capture a long, unhurried chapter of life, where today and tomorrow feel the same because they are both filled with peace, yet different because each day is a gift, not a temporary escape.
Live this scenery. It may not exist in the middle of a nebula in outer space, but you can find it in the life you have right now, with the people who matter most.
