Explore my betta fish artwork, capturing the elegance of flowing fins, vibrant turquoise-blue tones, and simple patterns against a mysterious dark background.
🎨 Vibrant Colors and Flowing Fins
I chose these colors because I wanted to see different variations of blue. I experimented with different color combinations, and turquoise blue worked like a charm.
The aim of any art is not perfection, but rather an experiment to see where the process takes us. The final output reflects what you observe, discover, and experience along the way.
🖌️ Artistic Details of the Betta Fish
The pattern was kept simple—just a traditional fish-scale pattern.
The face is kept intentionally expressionless. In the world of betta fish, especially males, they are known for showing off their beauty. They often have that slightly grumpy look in their eyes, but at the same time, they have a charismatic and graceful movement in the water.
I wanted the colors and flowing fins to capture that combination of attitude and elegance. You can even see it in his mouth, which has that naturally grumpy shape without a smile, giving the fish a subtle sense of attitude.
💡 Blue Betta Fish Digital Art Inspiration
This artwork was inspired by real fish, but I wanted to experiment with my own color combination. I have kept several betta fish in the past, although unfortunately, they didn't survive very well. I currently have some guppies in my planted tank, and they are doing well.
I have always liked fish. They live in their own fascinating underwater world, and keeping them at home, under the right conditions and with proper care, can add a unique character and sense of life to a home.
